Angela Montalbano is currently a supervisor for The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, Food Safety and Inspection and has been with this department since 1990. Angela is on the board of directors for AFDO (Association of Food and Drug Officials), an executive board member of The New York State Association of Food Protection, an advisory board member of the USDA Food Safety Outreach Program - a joint project with University of Massachusetts and University of Rhode Island to assist small and emerging food businesses. Angela was the author of AFDO’s Guidelines for Incubator Kitchens guidance document. Angela participates in several national training workgroups.
