After a twenty year career as an academic, Cathy decided to take her food science knowledge to help make the food system more resilient and equitable. In 2018, she started her own business, the Food Industry Employment program. Currently she helps food entrepreneurs and small food businesses with food safety and food science questions. Cathy's goal is to end world hunger by giving everyone access to food science knowledge.
